About SIT

Srinivas Institute of Technology is a unit of A. Shama Rao Foundation, Mangaluru. Srinivas group of institutions with more than 30 years of existence has about 12,000 students in the 18 colleges spread across three campuses in Pandeshwar, Valachil, and Mukka. SIT is located at Merlapadavu, Valachil, a calm, serene, and eco-friendly environment of 15 acres of green campus. It is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ grade. The college established in the year 2006 with 4 engineering streams has grown exponentially over the last decade and is currently offering 10 UG courses, 5 PG courses, and Ph.D. in 6 departments. Presently, more than 2500 students are studying at SIT Valachil campus. The mission of the institution is to achieve academic excellence through innovative teaching-learning practice, by providing a conducive research environment, industry-institute interaction, and skill development, leading to professionals with ethical values and social responsibilities.
