Srinivas Institute of Technology (SIT), Mangaluru, is a unit of the A. Shama Rao Foundation with over 30 years of educational legacy. Located at Valachil on a 15-acre green campus, the institute was established in 2006 with four engineering streams. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education and accredited with an "A" grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. SIT currently offers 13 undergraduate, 5 postgraduate, and Ph.D. programs across five departments, serving more than 2,500 students. The institute provides UG programs in these disciplines along with PG programs such as M.Tech in CSE, EC, and MCA. It also aims to encourage research in emerging technologies, strengthen academia, industry interaction, support advanced studies, and develop innovative solutions addressing real-world challenges and future technological advancements.
